About the role

This role provides culturally safe, early intervention support to children and young people in informal kinship care. The role strengthens placements by supporting carers, advocating for children’s education and wellbeing, connecting families to services and culture, and helping prevent statutory child protection involvement.

This role is a designated Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander position.

This role provides culturally safe, trauma-informed crisis and case management support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander individuals and families impacted by family violence. The role delivers risk assessment, safety planning, referrals and recovery programs, working collaboratively to promote safety, healing and empowerment.
