Our NAIDOC 2022 Design

This year, we put the call out to our community to submit their designs for our NAIDOC competition. The design will be featured on our t-shirts for our NAIDOC 2022 celebrations.

The winner of our competition was Karinda Farrant and we think her design is pretty deadly!

"This design represents mob coming together to get up, stand up and show up. The fist represents the fight and that we are stronger together. The gatherings represent mobs/communities coming together. The lines on the flag represent the generations that came before us. They paved the way for us, and they are who we fight for. We never forget what they’ve done, and we carry their fight with us.

I also felt it was important to include the colours which represent us as one. Black, yellow and red."
